 HUNEKE--The Rev. Dr. John G., Pastor of The Lutheran Church of the Reformation, Barbey Street, Brooklyn, since November 1972, passed away on September 20th at the age of 82. Reverend Huneke graduated from Columbia College, Class of '53. He also studied at Union Theological Seminary and Harvard Divinity School and was ordained in 1958. In May, 2010, he received the Degree of Doctor of Divinity from The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia. Pastor Huneke served St. John's Lutheran Church in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, for thirteen years and has served The Lutheran Church of the Reformation for 40 years. He will be greatly missed by his fellow clergy and his devoted and loyal parishioners and friends. He is survived by his wife, Clare Feger Huneke. The Rev. Dr. Huneke will repose at: N.F.
