Literary Pick (**)

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Hunter S. Thompson

A quick days-worth of reading. Funny in parts but not really my kind of read. I'd be interested in watching the movie to see how it's interpreted through film.

Remember that guy who said, "You can't tell a book by it's cover"? Yeah, well I'd like to kick him in the shins! Not because he was wrong, but because he doomed generations of readers to ignore an important part of the reading experience - the book cover. And you've picked a great example of that here. I wish I had an art-size copy of this cover. Great job!

Thank you. I prefer original book covers than to the Hollywood movie version. It keeps the focus on the novel itself, the way it is intended to be.
