Hi Rachel, Robert Edsel has a new book coming out in September called The Monuments Men: Allied Heroes, Nazi Thieves and the Greatest Treasure Hunt in History. http://www.amazon.com/Monuments-Men-Thieves-Greatest-Treasure/dp/1599951495/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1250163133&sr=8-1
Thank you very much.
Funny he should come out with a new book soon to be released..
"Saving Da Vinci" is such wonderfully illustrated book, however, it didn't illuminate certain important events and people (i.e. Hiltlers side-kicks and background on certain MFAA members).
I added "The Rape of Europa" to my Goodreads list to fill in the fractures. Maybe this new Edsel book will offer a more in-depth history of the Art pieces, people and places "Rescuing Da Vinci" seemed to neglect.
